Very Sad News

Randy Link, Scoutmaster of Troop 116,

passed away on Wednesday morning, June 6, 2001.

He was a great friend to Ridgefield Scouts and Scouters alike.

He will be missed.

Troop 76 sends its heartfelt condolences to Randy's family

and our many friends in Troop 116.

A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, June 21, 10 AM

at St. Stephens Church with a reception to follow

at the Oddfellows Hall.

Scouts and Scouters should not hesitate to wear their uniform

to the service and reception.

In a bittersweet note, 

Randy was posthumously awarded the District Award of Merit at the

Scatacook District Dinner on Wednesday evening along with

Gordie Knapp, ASM of Troop 116 and Jay Lubin, ASM of Troop 76.
