Become a Scout Volunteer
Boy Scouts offers leadership training, outdoor activities and adventures not available in school. We have uniformed adult leaders, lots of camping equipment and a commitment to help scouts become successful, independent and morally strong adults.
Troop 76 relies on volunteers to run the organization and programs that support our scouts, your sons. While our current adult leaders and volunteers are proud to serve, they will need to be replaced or the troop and the scouts will suffer.
The most visible adults in the troop are the uniformed leaders; scoutmaster and assistant scout masters. But there are a lot of adults behind the scenes in troop committee roles making sure that the troop functions smoothly and, most importantly, that the scouts have rewarding and learning adventures and experiences.
You might be surprised how many volunteers are needed to maintain a strong scouting program for Troop 76. And please sign up using this form. Once completed, send it with your scout to give to the Scoutmaster at the next weekly troop meeting.
The Boy Scouts of America requires any adult working with scouts in any volunteer capacity to complete Youth Protection Training. This is mandatory training for anyone who would like to participate as an adult volunteer on any of our trips, service projects, or events and or serve as a volunteer driver.
Thank you for making our troop
great for your children.
